Job Description

LaunchForth is looking for a highly motivated and skilled web developer to help us build a next generation crowd sourcing platform.

The ideal candidate will have experience with modern web application development principles including user experience design best practices, navigation systems, form validation, responsive design considerations, and accessibility. This candidate will work collaboratively in an agile based work environment to develop new platform features with a focus on a refined UI and always looking for ways to make interaction improvements through animations, transitions, and hover effects.

Skill and experience qualifications:

  • At least 3+ years experience in HTML, CSS, Javascript, and ES6
  • Experience with javascript frameworks, especially React/Redux and their related ecosystem of tools.
  • Experience with build tools such as Webpack and Gulp
  • Experience working in agile work environments and with Project Management tools like Jira and Confluence
  • Experience working with UX and design documents: wireframes, sitemaps, and component mockups and descriptions.
  • Knowledgeable of application performance considerations
  • Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies (such as new CSS features) and when to use them.
  • Experience with Python and/or Django a plus
